19 weeks

September 18, 2014

How far along?
19 weeks

Total weight gain:
+2.7 lbs total

Measurements:
Added 3 inches to my waist and 2 inches to my hips

Maternity clothes?
I bought my first outfit this week! I went shopping in hopes of finding maternity dress pants, but they only have maternity jeans on base. I ended up buying some skinny jeans on clearance for $10 and a few shirts. I love how soft and long they are! It was exciting getting new clothes too.

Sleep:
Getting up once a night but sleeping well

Best moment this week:
Feeling a few flutters!

Miss Anything?
Not being tired

Movement:
I can still feel her from the outside sometimes. There will be some mornings when she is really high and I can see this definite little bump that's really hard. I also felt my first few little kicks this week! It felt like a gas bubble but I pictured her giving me a little punch because it was so faint. Who knows! It happened 3 times in a row. I think I've felt it on a few other days too but its still pretty soft.

Food cravings:
Buttery popcorn

Anything making you queasy or sick:
Not anymore! My first week without puking since June!!!!!

Gender
3 more weeks until the anatomy ultrasound on base! October 10th is the date!

Symptoms:
Stuffy/runny nose and tired! I think I may be starting to get some of that back pain my apps keep warning me about. It's only when I sit for a while I think. Maybe the hips are starting to widen.

It's getting harder to remember what happened during the past week now that I'm back to work! Let's see...last Friday, we got to meet the cutest little newborn! The baby's dad is one of Dan's coworkers. He was so sweet and tiny! Then, I went to a girl's night at a friend's house and then Saturday night was the Air Force Ball. I didn't go but Dan went and volunteered for a little bit while I babysat a neighbor boy. Tuesday night, Dan put together our glider while the power was out. We ordered it in August because it was supposed to take 4-6 months to get here. It was super fast! Now we get to break it in. :) Thanks to Dan's mom for buying that for us a baby shower present!

We also shared this photo on Facebook telling people to stay tuned to find out the gender of Baby Stone! That was a fun Syracuse photo shoot. Can you tell one of us is obsessed with 'Cuse?! ;)

That's all for now! I'm excited that next week will be the halfway point!! I just can't wait to hold our little baby!
