Hello 3rd trimester! How crazy that there are only 12 weeks left? I had such a wonderful 2nd trimester. I wasn't dealing with morning sickness anymore, she started to move enough for me to feel her, and my other symptoms were fairly minimal aside from the occasional heartburn and backaches. I hear the symptoms pick up in the 3rd trimester so I'm a little nervous about the last 3 months but the excitement definitely outweighs it.

Last week, I finished up parent teacher conferences on Thursday and Friday, and they went pretty well from my point of view. It's nice to touch base with parents about their child's progress. Saturday, the 15th, we were able to take pictures on an F-15! Then, we had dinner with some friends and saw Interstellar at the theater- not the best movie in my opinion! But to each his own right?

Aside from the stroller and car seat, we also received Emma's bedding set in the mail this week, and I love it! The nursery looks soooo much better now! Dan's little sister also sent us an adorable little outfit and letter, and a neighbor gave us a beautiful quilt, hat, and burp clothes, and another neighbor gave us an exersaucer! What a fun gift week! And not sure if I mentioned it already or not, but one of our exchange student's from high school sent us the little bouncy seat a little while ago. So sweet of her! You can see it below.

As Dan says, "Emmaphant's bed"

Funky view when the app turns it into a flat image.

Last, we finally ordered some paintings for our room after staring at a blank wall for 2.5 years! Haha. Pathetic us!! But I love them. They are beautiful to look at when you walk in the room.

Dan also left today to go to Syracuse for his Grandfather's Memorial Service. He was able to get a few days off in the middle of all the craziness and will be back by Thanksgiving. Keep him and his family in your prayers! It's a tough time for them.
