Maternity clothes?
I pretty much wear my maternity pants every day now. I can still wear some of my old jeans unbuttoned or by using the hair tie trick. I'm at this point where I don't want to wear anything tight. I've officially stolen a few of Dan's shirts and some pajama pants and they are sooo comfortable for the nights. Also, here is my lil turkey shirt!
I have still been sleeping well but started to get up once a night again a few times.
Best moment this week:
Dan coming home!

This girl is SO active at night! As she gets bigger, I feel stronger movements and my stomach looks like it just starts freaking out sometimes. She loves to have a dance party when I get into bed every night. And she's had hiccups pretty much every day this past week too.
Food cravings:
Sweets... and more sweets
Anything making you queasy or sick:

Dan left last Thursday to go to New York for his grandfather's memorial service. He was able to spend lots of time with his family over the few days he was there. It was a good time- just a short and sweet visit with family. It was under unfortunate circumstances but he was able to catch up with some relatives he hadn't seen for a while.
On Saturday, I went to a one-year-olds birthday party and enjoyed playing photographer. It only shows me how much learning I still need to do before Emma gets here. The only good pictures I can take are when the camera focuses on the right thing on the automatic setting! It's so much harder to focus on a moving subject. Time to start a class or youtube videos.
It was a pretty busy week for me. I had a lot going on at school making turkeys, Pilgrim and Native American hats, and preparing for our Thanksgiving play that we had on Wednesday for the parents. It turned out well! I taught the kids a poem and 2 songs. Then, we enjoyed some tasty desserts that the parents brought.
Also, I had my 28 week appointment at the OB at the hospital. It went well! Emma's heartbeat was 130 and I was measuring at 29 weeks. We have no concerns so it was a pretty short appointment. So then I went to get my flu shot/TDAP vaccine but they were closed already. Also, the doctor put in for my glucose test, so I went back on Wednesday to get that done but apparently the order wasn't in the system so I had to go back to the OB and ask what was going on. Of course, they said it was in the system and the computers weren't communicating. So I went back down to the lab and of course it showed up then. But apparently they closed at 4:30 and it was already 4 and I couldn't do the hour long test that day. Ugh so inconvenient for working people on other bases! I hate the hospital hours- most everything closes between 4-4:30. How is that the end of a work day for people who need to make appointments after work? Plus all the birth classes are during the day too, so I won't be able to take any except the breastfeeding class. I was able to work it so I have the MICC tour (Mother Infant Care Center), my 32 week appointment, and the breastfeeding class all during Christmas break. Then, I won't have to take time off school to go over for appointments which is nice. After this next appointment, I should just have 3 more - 36, 38, and 40 weeks! That's insane!!! It just makes it seem that much sooner knowing I only have 3 more appointments before Emma's born...if she is born on/after her due date. It's getting so close!
Our broth draining system- it did catch a lot of fat on top!
