Food cravings:
Hmm... nothing really this week that I can think of. I've been eating a lot of cereal and pb&j because not much sounds good anymore.
Anything making you queasy or sick:
It was a good week! Only minimal nausea.
Gender:
I looked at the Chinese calendar predictor and it says a boy based on my age and month at conception!
Symptoms:
Sunday, July 6th was the first day I didn't feel nauseous at all! That was glorious. All week, I've felt so much better even though I've still been throwing up. Weird huh? Besides that, I feel more energetic than the beginning and haven't had as many symptoms this week.
Mood:
Glad to be off lockdown from the typhoon
Looking forward to:
My first ultrasound next week!
July 6th, I was stolen for a little while to hang out with some girls to get cheesecake for my birthday! That was fun.
July 7th, Dan and I prepared for the typhoon and went to see the new Transformers movie. Phew, that was long! 2 hours and 45 minutes. And my popcorn was gone by the first 30 minutes. Haha. Good thing I had a granola bar stashed in my purse.
July 8th/9th, we were put on lockdown because of the typhoon. Typhoon Neoguri passed to the west of our island and caused a ton of flooding around. We live at the top of a hill, so we hardly feel a thing during the typhoon and had no damage except a few branches in the back yard. Friends of ours had water covering nearly their whole cars! And where Dan works, the guard building was basically completely under water. So it's been a crazy few days with this typhoon. But on the plus side, we did clean out a few closets that were pretty junky!
July 10th, today, Dan is back at work, working a 12 hour shift to clean up all the damage. It sounded like their area got hit pretty hard with buildings under water, things floating around inside the buildings...it's gonna be a long day for him.
So that's my 9 week update! Probably 3 more weeks before we go public with the announcement. I think we'll wait to after I have my first OB appt on base at 12 weeks. Then, I can't wait for everyone to know!
